Risk Analyst

EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree in electronics, engineering or a related scientific or technical discipline
EXPERIENCE: 5 years experience, 8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for experience.
The Risk Management Analyst must have experience in the review of risk management data to identify discrete area and overall program/project risk in terms of cost, schedule, and performance. Coordinate with program team members to gather and validate data. Identify risk areas and create narrative, graphic, and oral status reports. The Risk Analyst manages the Risk Registry SharePoint Site content including customized lists, InfoPath web parts, conditional statements, sortable columns, customized views and workflows that identify and track risks and respective probability of occurrence (high, medium, low) based on industry standards, impact statements, proposed mitigation strategies and plans to implement the strategies. These risks are relative to the ability of the Program to sustain the applications in regards to platform architecture, resource availability, resource skillsets, need to upgrade the underlying platform, the need to comply with standards such as security, compliance to 508 and Technical Reference Manual (TRM), platform operating system and the need to adapt to configuration changes to the production environment where the application is hosted. The Risk Analyst shall recommend risk mitigations and gather risk related information in order to support the Team Manager in candidate risk evaluation, risk escalation, and resolution achievement.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
