Installation Engineer

The Contractor shall support the Data Center Facilities and Connectivity Division. The Contractor shall perform program and project management support services in accordance with established CDCO procedures and guidelines. The Contractor shall ensure that all support tasks are performed in accordance with applicable security regulations.
The Contractor shall:
a. Outline main activities for the month and plan activities for the next month.
b. Prepare correspondence, memoranda and reports as required by CDCO standards or other directives provided.
c. Prepare reports required for tracking Contractor progress.
d. Establish and maintain assigned project files for the Data Center Facilities and Connectivity Division. Maintenance includes the development and upkeep of spreadsheets to track project schedules, material delivery, program and project progress, modifications, cost estimates and other financial information.
e. Inspect, assist, and report on assigned program and project activities, and provide security consultation on projects as requested.
f. Review invoices for accuracy of progress payment requests, travel and other cost charges on assigned projects for CORs. Research inquiries from customers and vendors on payments.
g. Perform simple analyses related to proposed projects. Research online or other sources for market research information and prepare results for COR.
h. Meet with Data Center Facilities and Connectivity Division on a weekly basis to discuss status of work, and meet with CORs on an as needed basis to discuss problems and concerns, status of work, changes in assignments or other project related issues.
i. Review final work products on assigned projects for completion and conduct follow-up activities until project is satisfactorily completed.
j. Meet with customers to determine needs, and make recommendations for project scope and schedule.
k. Schedule and oversee the installation of products.
l. Adhere to task order specifications and established policies and procedures by reporting any noted discrepancies to the responsible Government manager.
Education: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Engineering. 8 yeas of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
