Registered Nurse (RN) - Outpatient Float Pool

Registered Nurses (RNs) in the Outpatient Nursing Service Float Pool substitute for staff RNs and provide comprehensive assessment and treatment of veterans who present for care of medical conditions and/or surgical procedures in the Outpatient Clinics.
The RN assessment includes immediate issues, referral to appropriate programs and veteran responses to previously provided care as appropriate to the clinic to which assigned.
Outpatient Float Pool RNs are instrumental in care planning, care delivery and discharge planning in Primary Care, Medical Sub-Specialty, Special Procedure, Surgical, Home Based Primary Care Clinics and the Mobile Medical Unit.
Work Schedule:
8 am - 4:
30 pm, Monday - Friday.
This position is located primarily in the Mobile Medical Unit, with rotation to the other clinics as needed.
Some weekend work is required.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
